Based on 500 reviewsGARDEN HOUSE CRAFTS DAIKANYAMA is widely appreciated for its inviting atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, nestled in the trendy Daikanyama neighborhood. Customers often highlight the exceptional quality of its baked goods, particularly the cinnamon rolls and melon bread, praised for their texture and flavor. The café offers a range of pastries, brunch plates, and coffee options that complement the overall dining experience. A very aesthetically pleasing cafe, that offers delicious pastries. The cinnamon roll was drool worthy. I saw the he brunch items on other patron's tables - looked good. Absolutely a worthwhile visit.
Tucked away in the stylish neighborhood of Daikanyama, GARDEN HOUSE CRAFTS is a lovely café and bakery that’s perfect for a relaxing morning or brunch stop. They offer plate sets, but we highly recommend skipping straight to their baked goods and pastries—everything we tried was delicious, but the melon bread was the absolute standout! Soft, sweet, and just the right texture. Their café latte was smooth and comforting, and the homemade ginger ale was super refreshing—especially in the morning heat. A bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! The only downside? The wait. Even though seating was available, the line moved slowly. There’s one register each for eat-in and takeout, but during busy hours the flow gets a bit chaotic, especially when customers order both to-go and eat-in in one go. If you're visiting in summer, try to grab a seat inside or by the big outdoor ventilator—it gets warm early, and some shade + breeze goes a long way.
We visited this place on a Saturday around 1 PM. The wait to order and get our food was a bit long, but it was understandable since the ordering counter inside was quite small. We got a latte and a hot coffee—both were delicious and just right for us! The prices were reasonable too. They have a great selection of bread, both for dining in and takeaway. If you’re ordering to go, there’s a separate line, which was much faster. The outdoor seating area had a really nice vibe, especially in the winter—it felt so cozy! There were plenty of seats outside, making it a great spot to relax. Highly recommend this place if you love bread and good coffee. We’ll definitely be coming back!
One of the coolest neighborhoods in Tokyo. And the garden house cafe is pretty cool especially the patio. Their pastry selection is amazing. They have the best cinnamon roll ever!!
Cozy place to take a break or have lunch. Had their chicken burger and latte. Both were great! Lots of outdoor seating.
Had breakfast at Garden House Crafts for the first time, and it was such a treat! They have an amazing selection of pastries—both sweet and savory—fresh out of the oven. Everything looked so good, it was hard to choose! I ended up trying a buttery croissant and a savory quiche, and both were absolutely delicious. You can tell they put a lot of love into their baking. Their coffee is also good. The place itself has a cozy, rustic vibe with a beautiful garden view—perfect for a relaxed morning. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Tokyo and love freshly baked goodies! I’ll be back for sure.
I came here at 1 pm, after lunch, for a cup of latte. It's a very nice place to have coffee and chill out. Plenty of outdoor seating, and even if it is cold, they have plenty of heaters to keep the surrounding area warm. Coffee is good and the staff are friendly.
I loved the azuki butter baguette and salted melon pan, but the cinnamon bun was disappointing. Despite being labeled as having cardamom, I couldn't taste it at all. The bun's dry texture and the sugar on top made it really difficult to eat and more frustrating than enjoyable. The atmosphere on the terrace, however, was fantastic. If the weather is good, I recommend opting for outdoor seating. The indoor space is nice too, but the terrace definitely adds to the experience.
